- Responsible for taking concepts through design for new or modify existing core & molding equipment.
- Experience in creating detail drawings for fabrication and machining, as well as work with vendors and our client's shop floor for creation of parts and sub assemblies, create and manage bills of material.
- Participates in specification, drawing review, mechanical build, factory run off, and field commissioning.
- Works with customers to support machinery and installation needs.
- Work with others in the Engineering Department to oversee and facilitate accurate work product and timely response to project needs and customer support.
- Proven experience with precision industrial automation machinery, skilled with sizing actuators, beam sizes and selection, general machine operation & design, understand linear guidance, and have understanding of interface with hydraulic & pneumatic control.
- Proficient in creating fabrication and assembly drawings with AutoCAD and Solid Works.
- Capable of limited travel primarily throughout North America.
- This is not an entry level position.
- Minimum 3 5 year"s experience with industrial machine design and fabrication, field service, and supervising small teams.
