    Talent Operations Specialist

    • Temp - perm, MUST live in the city of Boston to be hired permanent.
    • Ideally: Candidates who have worked as a TA Administrator/HRIS Administrator or TA Coordinator with operations experience. This is not a recruiter position.
    • Location: Boston, MA
    • Pay: $45-50/hr
    • Schedule: M-F 9:00am - 5:00pm [35-40 hours]. Hybrid work model after 30 days of training onsite (3 days onsite, 2 remote).


    Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Development and Oversight: Reporting to a Human Resources Leader, the Talent Operations Manager will oversee the candidate experience from initial contact through on-boarding. This role is crucial in strategizing and revamping existing processes to build a state-of-the-art Talent Acquisition department that meets the demands of a large, decentralized workforce.
    • Enhancing Candidate Experience: Responsible for ensuring an excellent candidate experience during pre-boarding, which includes managing all administrative aspects such as obtaining required forms (e.g. I-9 verifications, COVID and/or flu verifications), scheduling necessary appointments (e.g., occupational health) and ensuring thorough completion of background checks, compliance (e.g. residency), and reference verifications.
    • Operational Excellence: Provide exceptional service to candidates, hiring managers, and recruitment agencies, maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the requisition/job posting and onboarding processes. This includes direct communications with newly hired employees to ensure they meet all pre-employment requirements and providing updates to hiring managers when required.
    • System Management and Reporting: Manage new employee data in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP Enterprise), and generate necessary reports to track onboarding metrics and outcomes. This role will also assess and respond to system and process needs by creating and modifying workflows to increase efficiency.
    • Continuous Improvement: Actively seek and implement improvements to the pre-boarding experience and requisition/job posting process. This includes analyzing current practices and making data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
    • Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with department leaders to align the Talent Acquisition function with broader organizational goals. Lead strategic projects and initiatives that drive improvement across the talent management spectrum, ensuring integration of best practices in talent acquisition and development.


    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
    • 3-5years experience in Talent Acquisition Operations
    • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System and ADP Enterprise
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
    • Strong customer service experience
    • Ability to work independently with little day-to-day supervision
