    Description

    ** Senior Plumbing Engineer**

    ****

    New * Assist in the procurement of high-quality work; manage multi-disciplinary project teams.

    Maintain strong client relations as it pertains to project delivery and repeat business.

    Design plumbing and fire protection systems including: domestic cold water system, water treatment, domestic hot water systems, sanitary drainage and vent systems, storm drainage systems, pumping systems, natural gas distribution systems, special fire suppression systems (gaseous, water mist), acid waste and vent systems and specialty lab gas systems.

    Understanding trends and standard methodologies in the Healthcare or Aviation industry along with an applied knowledge of other relevant markets.

    Presenting technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences.

    Prepare drawings detailing the system designed.

    Prepare and review reports.

    Incorporate sustainable design methods in buildings.

    Review and prepare commercial proposals and scoping documents.

    Monitor performance of team against financial targets, technical deliverables and schedule.

    8 or more years of experience designing plumbing and fire protection systems

    Project management and supervisor experience.

    Business development capabilities, commercial/financial awareness.

    Familiarity with codes and standards, specifically IPC, UPC, CPC, ASPE standards, LEED water efficiency, and NFPA

    Revit MEP proficiency

    Experience designing plumbing and fire protection systems for Healthcare projects

    CPD, or Professional Engineering License in US

    LEED AP or WELL Certifications

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working

    Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels

    The ability to prioritize effectively, balance assigned work and exceptional organization skills are required for our constantly evolving environment
