Expected Work Schedule For The Athens Ministry CoordinatorFull- or part-time, flexible schedule
Occasional evenings and/or weekends for specific events/projects
Attendance at several conferences each year, including IFI Staff Retreats
Pay Structure For a Athens Ministry Coordinator
Requires the development of a ministry partner team which supplies the necessary prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expenses
Training is provided to develop a team of ministry partners
Pay range is typically between $27,274 and $84,872 after the period of support development, based on experience and other factors

Responsibilities Of a Athens Ministry Coordinator
We are seeking an Ohio University Campus Minister for our Ohio University (OU) location in Athens, OH. OU was established as Ohio's first university in 1804 and has had quite an influence. There are about 1,500 international students from 116 countries.
This position is part of the Athens ministry team and requires the candidate to live near the campus on which they will be serving.
As an Athens Ministry Coordinator, you'll be instrumental in campus ministry to international students, fostering church relations, and coordinating volunteers.
Your duties include organizing cultural activities, leading Bible discussion groups, mentoring students, establishing church partnerships, and managing volunteer recruitment and activities.
Qualifications needed from the Athens Ministry Coordinator, including Spiritual CharacteristicsAdherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies
Is faithful, loyal, and dedicated to IFI's mandate from the Lord to extend God's love globally through equipping Christians to be effective cross-cultural communicators of the Gospel
Well organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently
Be a self-starter, as well as a team player
Ability to work under stress and be flexible
Enjoys working with people and has strong interpersonal skills, especially when addressing a dissatisfied student or volunteer
Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications
Education/Experience Preferred For Athens Ministry Coordinator
Bachelor degree (or higher) in education and/or ministry-related field or demonstrated experience mobilizing, training, and ministering to people
Cross-cultural ministry experience, preferred
