    NEW Speech Language Pathology Opportunity Near Augusta, Georgia

    Are you a Speech Language Pathologist looking for a new position? We might have the solution for you ProCare Therapy is a nationwide staffing organization working specifically with school districts to fill positions in education in your area. We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified candidate for a position located in Dalton, GA. The ideal candidate will have a fervent passion for working with students, along with an unyielding commitment to their wellbeing. Job Description:

    • Part-Time Position (Open to Full-Time Candidates)
    • Monday - Friday
    • Location: Dalton, GA
    • Caseload Details: Some initial evals, some re-evals, IEP attendance, and report writing
    • More Details Available Upon Interview

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose and assess speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in students of all ages.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, ensuring alignment with academic, social-emotional, and vocational goals.
    • Engage in intervention strategies tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities, focusing on improving communication skills for academic success and social interaction.
    • Utilize and adapt various instructional resources and techniques to enhance student communication abilities, including the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for those with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Masters or Doctorate Level Degree (Speech Related)
    • Active Speech Language Pathology Licensure in the State of Georgia
    • 1-2 Years Previous Experience in School Settings (preferred)
