Summary of Job Function:
Assists in the daily operation of the Monmouth County Screening Center by performing receptionist duties and general clerical duties. During high patient volume and/or acuity, assists by answering telephone lines and routing clinical calls to screening staff.
Completes registration for off-site services, assists in the collection of statistical information, assists in payroll, takes minutes from various PESS meetings.
Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas), etc.Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Trade/vocational training preferred.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
One to three years prior clerical experience required.
Skilled and trained in reception, customer relations, and office procedures.
Typing and word processing (minimum of 25 wpm), data entry, office machinery, medical terminology preferred.
Basic knowledge of coding, billing and insurance preferred.
Must possess and maintain a valid N.J. State Driver s License.
