- Performing various procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, holter monitors, etc.
- Administering intravenous (IV) therapy when necessary.
- Accompanying patients to exam rooms and preparing them for examinations or procedures based on physician preferences.
- Displaying strong clinical skills in assisting physicians with procedures, administering medication, and patient education.
- Handling patient phone calls promptly and with sound clinical judgment.
- Ensuring examination rooms and work areas are well-maintained and clean on a daily basis.
- Following established policies and procedures, including OSHA guidelines.
- Conducting necessary clerical duties for patient care and communication.
- Scheduling office and outpatient appointments efficiently.
- Preparing patient records for physician review and treatment.
- Performing assigned duties in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintaining up-to-date LPN credentials and certification.
- Participating in Quality Improvement Activities at the site level.
- Ensuring strict confidentiality.

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Additional vocational or college credits needed.
Licensure: Active State of Tennessee License in Practical Nursing required. Chest and Extremity X-Ray certification may be required for certain positions.
Experience: Six months in a similar clinical setting is preferred.
