    Are you passionate about improving hearing health and dedicated to providing exceptional care? MultiCare Yakima is seeking a full-time, clinic-based Audiologist to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to assess, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages, ensuring they receive the best hearing solutions tailored to their needs.     What You Will Do:
    • Perform comprehensive diagnostic hearing tests, including pure tone air and bone conduction, speech audiometry, and impedance testing for patients from birth through seniors.
    • Interpret test results accurately for both patients and physicians, facilitating informed medical decisions.
    • Recommend necessary medical follow-up, hearing aids, ear protection, and other treatments.
    • Conduct hearing aid evaluations to determine the most suitable amplification device.
    • Fit and program hearing aids, providing thorough guidance on operation and maintenance.
    • Perform routine hearing aid maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
    Required Skills:
    • Active Washington state audiologist license (or IMLC member) or eligible for licensure.
    • Successful completion of a master's or doctorate degree in audiology, including clinical practicum experience.
    • Proven proficiency in diagnostic audiometry and hearing aid fitting.
    • Strong interpretative skills to analyze test results accurately.
    • Effective communication skills to educate patients on device use and care.
    • Current BLS Certification.
    Nice to Have Skills:
    • Experience with pediatric hearing assessments.
    • Additional certifications in vestibular testing or related audiology specialties.
    • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
    • Bilingual abilities to serve a diverse patient population.
    Preferred Education and Experience:
    • AuD or master's degree in audiology from a recognized, accredited program.
    • Previous clinic-based audiology experience preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.
    Other Requirements:
    • Availability for full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 8 am 5 pm).
    • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
    • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
    • No travel required for this role.
    Compensation:
    • Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00
