School Based Speech and Language Pathologist

Chileda's goal is to help students increase their appropriate social behaviors and develop independent living skills, through an enriched learning environment and individualized behavior programming.

We are now accepting applications for a School Based Speech and Language Pathologist in Menasha, WI .The Speech-Language Pathologist helps students and residents of Chileda who have speech and language difficulties.

This position has a heavy AAC and autism focus, but there are a wide variety of students on the caseload.

Ages may range from six to twenty-one.

Along with working directly with students, the SLP will also collaborate with other professionals at Chileda to ensure that a students' communication needs are met across campus.

Start date for this position is August 1, 2024Job Duties:

Develop speech and language goals and objectives for student IEPs and treatment plansMonitor and chart students' progress during therapy sessions.

Maintain visual forms of communication for students, low and high techTrain support staff in use of low- and high-tech visual forms of communication.
