    CACI is looking for a Network Engineer to support our customer to provide a common set of required EIT services across 187 bases to implement a consistent, high-quality experience for users across all mission environments and enable USAF to transition focus from network operations to mission operations

    This will be a 24/7 operation with a Panama Work Schedule in which each employee will work a 12-hour shift rotating days (6AM - 6PM)
    As a Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of our network infrastructure
    Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, allowing you to showcase your expertise and contribute significantly to our IT landscape
    Here's what you will get to do: What You'll Get to Do: Serve as technical lead on networking-related innovation projects, including implementing software defined networking architectures in a lab environment and documenting playbooks and repeatable solutions for use in multiple customer environments
    Conduct research to identify new technologies that could improve solutions
    Lead the development of designs and participate in design reviews with the program team or customer
    Facilitate technical exchange meetings with the costumer and provide recommendations on possible solutions
    Develop, design, configure and implement data networking solutions based upon the customer's performance criteria and specifications
    Prepare technical documentation describing new networking frameworks, approaches, and toolkits
    Develop and perform technical presentations for customers
    Serve as technical resource at customer briefings
    Mentor junior engineers

    More About the Role:

    The ideal candidate will bring:

    Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Network Engineer or leading projects of similar scope

    • Working knowledge in multiple networking disciplines, including SDN WAN, SDNA, and 5G with the ability to develop solutions in accordance with Federal Government standards.
    • Experience in complex network topologies including data, voice, security, virtualization, video, and wireless networks.
    • Systems integration and testing experience.
    • Experience with data network switching and routing with products from Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto etc.
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain and implement complex, technical proposals that clearly address customer requirements.
    • Flexible, decisive & proactive problem solver in a fast-paced environment.
    • Internal and external customer interface experience.
    • 3+ years of engineering Multi-Protocol Label and Switching (MPLS) and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP).
    • 3+ years of Cloud experience Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure

    You'll Bring These Qualifications:

    Ability to obtain a DoD secret Clearance / An active DoD Secret clearance.

    • Minimum 8+ Years of relevant experience (bachelor's degree in a relevant IT, engineering, or technical field, may be substituted for 5 years of experience).
    • Hands-on working experience and/or certifications with products and technologies from vendors like: Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, Riverbed, Splunk, etc.
    • Proficient in Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other software applications as required, including Microsoft SharePoint.
    • Demonstrated Leadership skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    • Experience in using drawing tools such as Microsoft Visio is a must.
    • Experience utilizing ticketing systems (JIRA, Remedy etc.)

    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

    Industry certifications related to data networking (CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIP, etc.)

    • Industry certifications related to network security (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
    • Experience with DoD network cyber security and DISA STIG requirements
    • Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN)
    • ITIL Foundation Certification
    • Experience working on projects with large VoIP and Data Network infrastructure modernization.
    • Experience working with DoD customer
