Job summary
To direct and oversee all administrative activities associated with the residency program ensuring that the training development and work related needs of the residents are met in a manner that contributes to the achievement of the defined program objectives. Administrative coordination of residency training program Works on policies and protocols in conjunction with the Program Director Establishes priorities and sets deadlines for efficient coordination of education activities Oversees ensures coordination of scheduling for rotations conferences lectures performance evaluations and all program required activities Compiles data analyzes summarizes creates reports as required Responsible for coordination of residency programs education committees including meeting minutes taking Participates in educational activities professional development as available Monitoring compliance residency training program certifying regulatory agencies system hospital guidelines policies Disseminates specialty board information relative to policies documentation certification Tracks monitors resident duty hours addresses non-compliance issues Program director Coordinates site visit follows up pending issues progress reports Maintains working knowledge ACGME Institutional Common RRC specific requirements Notifies residents fellows guidelines changes regulations clarifies resident policies Alerts directors potential counseling need poor performance evaluation oversees remediation plans Resident Recruitment Partners establishes recruitment policy guidelines strategy Updates maintains residency programs website recruitment materials Manages application screening process eligible applicants via Electronic Residency Application System ERAS applying filters per guideline Oversee applicant interview scheduling interview process Coordinates recruitment meetings pre-rankings applicants final match consideration submits Rank Order List National Resident Matching Program NRMP Finance Data Management Utilizing residency management application system timely submission upkeep resident data institution Medicare reimbursement proactively implements new features modules enhances management residency cost center processes expenses according to policy Develops oversees affiliation agreements hospital settings Oversees coordinates timely completion ACGME Web ADS GME Track others Annual assists Manager preparation budget review approval by Director Medical Education Regularly monitors cost center processes expenses.Job description
