Client is currently seeking a site civil engineer candidate for a role in Miami, Florida. The qualifications and responsibilities for this position are below:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. If not, candidate must demonstrate very strong background in civil/site design and Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Minimum of 3 years of directly-relevant experience in civil/site development
• Ability to develop working drawings for civil site plans (layout, piping, grading, drainage, and paving)
• Experience with the planning and design of facility layout and site design projects
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Perform civil engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure, focused on site design project components including site layout, infrastructure piping, roadways, paving and grading, and stormwater infrastructure
• Reviews of contractor submittals for conformance with contract plans and specifications, and evaluate requests for information as part of engineering services during construction
• Experience with SoFL permitting is preferred but not required
