    Job Title:
    Looking for a CNC Machinist Level 1, 2 and 3 (2nd or 3rd Shift)

    Position Overview:
    We are currently seeking CNC Machinists at Level 1, 2, and 3 to join our dynamic team.

    As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in the production process, operating computer-controlled machinery to create precise components for aerospace applications.


    Shift Options:
    2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 pm - 3:30 am
    3rd Shift: Friday-Sunday, 5:00 am - 5:30 pm


    Pay Scale:

    Level 1:
    $ per hour DOE

    Level 2:
    $22.00-$26.00 per hour DOE

    Level 3:
    $ per hour DOE


    CNC MACHINIST LEVEL I:

    Minimum Qualifications:
    High School Diploma or Equivalent.
    Must have the ability to speak and write in English.
    Experience working with manufacturing-based technology, processes, and principles.
    Basic knowledge of CNC machining practices and principles
    Basic knowledge of using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and other inspection gauges

    Basic knowledge of reading and interpreting documents such as work orders, drawings, internal and customer specifications, manuals, and safety regulations.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    6 months experience with CNC machining, aerospace blueprints/drawings and specifications
    Skilled Trade certification from accredited college, community college, or vocational school preferred.
    Skill in performing mid-level math skills efficiently and accurately (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fraction and decimals)


    Responsibilities:
    Follow company policies, quality standards, and procedures.
    Operate CNC equipment to make machined components.
    Assist in equipment setup under supervision.
    Change cutting tools as required with supervision.
    Learn to use measuring equipment with guidance.
    Use production documents to complete tasks accurately.
    Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications.
    Report any issues to the Shift Supervisor.
    Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work area.
    Follow safety regulations consistently.
    Identify opportunities for improvement.
    Perform additional tasks as assigned.


    CNC MACHINIST LEVEL II:

    Minimum Qualifications:
    High School Diploma or equivalent
    Minimum of 2 years' experience with CNC machining, aerospace blueprints/drawings and specifications OR equivalent education/experience required
    Must have the ability to speak and write in English.
    Experience working with manufacturing-based technology, processes, and principles.
    Able to independently operate CNC machines, follow practices and principles, understand its capability, and perform daily maintenance.
    Skill in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and other inspection gauges
    Skill in reading and interpreting documents such as work orders, drawings, internal and customer specifications, manuals, and safety regulations.
    Experience working with manufacturing-based technology, processes, and principles.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    CNC MACHINIST LEVEL III:

    Minimum Qualifications:
    High School Diploma or Equivalent
    Minimum of 3 years' experience with CNC machining, aerospace blueprints/drawings and specifications OR equivalent education/experience required
    Minimum of 2 years' experience with 5-axis CNC machine setup and operation
    Must have the ability to speak and write in English.
    Experience working with manufacturing-based technology, processes, and principles.
    Able to independently setup and operate CNC machines, follow practices and principles, understand its capability, and perform daily maintenance.
    Skill in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and other inspection gauges
    Skill in reading and interpreting documents such as work orders, drawings, internal and customer specifications, manuals, and safety regulations.
    Ability to efficiently train Apprentice, Level I and II CNC Machinists in all aspects of the job. The duties of a trainer would include on-the-job training and documenting progress of trainees.
    Ability to provide guidance and direction to staff including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
    Skill in performing mid-level math skills efficiently and accurately (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fraction and decimals)


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Minimum of 5 years' experience with CNC machining, aerospace blueprints/drawings and specifications OR equivalent education/experience required
    Minimum of 4 years' experience with 5-axis CNC machine setup and operation

    Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year College or University, with a technical major such as computer science or MIS (Management Information Systems) highly preferred.

    Skilled Trade certification from accredited college, community college, or vocational school preferred.
