Join Our TeamThe Director of Finance forms part of the Hotel Leadership team who collectively make key strategic and operational decisions for the Hotel.
The Director is responsible for safeguarding the hotel assets and financial resources contributing towards maximizing hotel profitability. They provide timely and accurate financial information and counsel to Hotel senior management and ownership.The Director of Finance is the gatekeeper of financial results and he or she must have the ability to confidently communicate and establish a positive working relationship with ownership and their representatives.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities, and be willing to accept assignments on as need basis, in order to promote teamwork.
Strong leadership and organizational skills are required with an ability to create and implement all of the financial policies and procedures for the hotel while ensuring to drive business to be a market leader in RevPAR, GOP and EBITDA performance.
The ideal candidate is a current Director of Finance. Applicants are highly recommended to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance Management. A Finance or Hospitality Management Degree qualification is required. Previous experience with Residential Accounting knowledge such as condo association, hotel residences reconciliations and budgeting process is required. Knowledge of US tax law, experience with US labor laws and regulations is required.
