Project Superintendent
Inland Crane, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Project Superintendent.
Primary responsibility is to manage, in collaboration with the Senior Project Manager (SPM), in a consensus building, team building exercise, the successful completion of assigned mega-project.
will be the lead for job site safety, quality control, and the implementation of the SPM's project schedule and is the liaison with architect and consultants on all field and constructability issues.
Essential Functions:

Manage job site safety, quality, and schedule for assigned projects from pre-construction to closeout.
·
Ensure Inland Crane, Inc.'s standards of quality and safety are adhered to by assertively championing Inland Crane, Inc.'s safety culture to project team and subcontractors.
Work collaboratively with SPM and SPS, project team members, and field.
Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with clients, Construction Managers, project team,
consultants/architect/engineers,
subcontractors, adjacent community, trade unions, and governmental agencies.

Responsible for the project set-up, job site logistics, field coordination, and project schedule.

Review all project documents for constructability and content, including shop drawings.
·
Maintain and update project records including RFI's, ASI's and as-builts.
·
Create and enforce a site-specific emergency action plan for assigned projects in collaboration with the SPS and SPM.
·
Perform daily job site walks and submit daily safety audit reports.
·
Conduct and/or attend Foreman meetings, pre-task meeting, safety meetings and project staff meetings.
·
Manage job site manpower production and performance.
·
Use project management and scheduling software effectively.
Personal
Characteristics/Skills:
·
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Foreman, Superintendent, or equivalent role, in the construction industry. Degree in Construction Management, or related field, preferred.
SPS candidates must have a solid understanding of the construction industry, job site safety requirements, planning and scheduling, building trades and sequence of work, and relevant technology.
·Key competencies are leadership, initiative, communication, teamwork, managing for results, and coaching & mentoring. Must be able to read plans and specifications. Engineering qualification(s) or equivalent experience in engineering / construction preferable.
·
Ability to effectively and efficiently plan / prioritize all areas of responsibility, on a daily basis.
Work Environment:
The work environment will within the Project Offices and in the field of a large, mega-project location in the Boise area.
Compensation:
$140, $175,000.00 range depending on experience.
