This is a full-time salaried role with an annual salary of $55,000 and up depending on experience. It has a standard work schedule (Monday-Friday daytime) with occasional evenings and weekends required.


    What you will do:

    • Planning and execution of the St.

    Louis Arc's current fund raising events:
    Arc Golf tournament, Trivia Night, European Auto Show, Autism Invitational Golf Tournament, and Poker Tournament
    • Planning and leadership for the Arc's 75th Anniversary gala in 2025 Planning for re-launch of the Superheroes for Kids event in 2026 Coordination of annual Board/Donor Holiday Party
    • Re-launch and coordination of Arc's Young Friends/Professionals group
    • Cultivation of third-party events and other fundraising opportunities
    • Working with the Volunteer Manager on the execution and follow-up for corporate volunteer activities
    • Pursuing engagement opportunities with corporate volunteer groups, civic groups, service organizations and others
    • Representing the Arc at corporate volunteer fairs and other outreach opportunities
    • Assist in our efforts to communicate gift impact to donors and engage prospects in the Arc's mission

    What we expect of you:
    The flexible, compassionate individual we are seeking is an innovative and quick thinker with these qualifications:


    • Bachelor's Degree in Communications,, Marketing, or related field
    • Two to three years experience in special events or related field
    • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office; Salesforce and Raisers Edge experience preferred)
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to set, manage, and meet deadlines
    • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work with a diverse population of donors, volunteers, staff and Arc participants
    • Enthusiasm, self-motivation and positive attitude
    • Reliable transportation with valid Driver's License and auto insurance at time of hire
