    Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction

    Charlotte, NC

    We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Charlotte, NC. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a vital role in the successful execution of commercial construction projects valued up to $100 million. This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career with a leading general contractor and gain invaluable experience on large-scale projects.

    What You Will Do:

    • Assist Project Managers in all phases of the construction process, from pre-construction to closeout
    • Manage project budgets, schedules, and subcontracts
    • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors
    • Prepare and track project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
    • Monitor project quality and safety compliance
    • Conduct site inspections and generate reports
    • Assist with project closeout activities

    What You Will Bring:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
    • 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction
    • Strong understanding of construction documents and specifications
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Construction software experience a plus (Procore, Primavera, etc.)
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
