    Description:

    The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of non-malignant hematology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Hematology.

    Teaching responsibilities may include teaching hematology/oncology fellows, residents and medical students.

    Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients with sickle cell disease, disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis, and general benign hematologic conditions in an outpatient setting and as an attending on the inpatient service at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP).

    Research or scholarship responsibilities may include an established track record and research experience in non-malignant hematology. Successful applicants will be part of a growing clinical research program in this area. Selected candidates will have an established record of independent funding, high impact publications and a strong national/international reputation. Evidence of scholarship is required in the Clinician Educator track.
