Financial Analyst – Senior Financial Analyst – Manufacturing - Mississippi

Salary $75,000 - $100,000 + Benefits & Paid Relocation to Mississippi

Nationally known client located near major southern metro is seeking a Financial Analyst who can provide critical operational and financial analysis that defines opportunities and achieve existing goals for the facility. Financial Analyst Candidates with MBA or CPA and cost accounting experience will receive immediate attention.

As the Financial Analyst, your major activities & responsibilities will be:

• Conducting Product Line Profitability Analysis
• Support Standard Costing and New Business Quoting
• Assist with monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and financial reporting
• Support the monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and period-end close process
• Perform process design and implementation for the Finance/Accounting department
• Communicate product line financial performance to product line leaders/plant management and assist in driving improvements
• Work with purchasing, manufacturing engineering, and product line leaders to understand manufacturing processes and associated costs.
• Use all means available to support the Plant's mission for consistent improvement in quality, cost, delivery, and service through consistent participation in cross-functional teams, financial analysis, and communication
• Assist with the preparation of Appropriation Requests (AR) for capital spending and prepare the AR to be submitted to management for review and approval
• Apply financial modeling software to aid in the financial analysis of new business investments using ROI, IRR, NPV and Payback Period
• Insure all Corporate, Division and Plant policies and procedures are communicated and followed
  
  REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS FINANCIAL ANALYST POSITION INCLUDE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • At least 5 years accounting experience / financial analysis in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with SAP, PLEX, Hyperion systems.
