Responsibilities

The Mayo Clinic Rochester Department of Radiology is seeking candidates to join our amazing team in the Division of Abdominal Imaging.

We operate a high-volume clinical practice, providing the full gamut of services and we are specifically seeking individuals skilled in subspecialized abdominopelvic CT (including dual energy) and MRI (including prostate, rectal, GYN, pelvic floor imaging, elastography), as well as GI fluoroscopy.

Opportunities to participate in other clinical areas, for example Hospital/ER or US, are possible and encouraged, depending upon each individual's interest and expertise.

Academic rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the individual.

As a part of the Division of Abdominal Imaging at Mayo Rochester, you will work alongside nationally and internationally recognized leaders in radiology at a world-renowned medical center.

Our radiology team is fully integrated with the medical and surgical subspecialty teams, providing extraordinary collaborative interdisciplinary care for our patients and unparalleled opportunities for continued learning, research, and innovation for our radiologists.

Mayo Clinic has developed a new Research Department for AI and Informatics and currently more than 200 AI projects are in various stages of maturity across the discovery-translation-application research continuum.

The Department of Radiology has a large residency and fellowship program (including both an Abdominal Radiology and a Body Imaging & Intervention Fellowship) and places a high priority on providing a first-rate education for our trainees.

* expectation of participation in the "3-shield practice" including clinical work, research, and education
* opportunities to pursue administrative and/or leadership positions, if desired

* very limited evening call and weekend coverage

Qualifications

Board eligibility/Board certification by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) with experience in abdominopelvic CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy. Fellowship in Abdominal or Body Imagine or equivalent.
