Responsibilities include:

Coordination of Private Equity reporting (Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements for joint ventures).Managing the Private Equity reporting team (2 accountants)Coordination of the financial statement external annual audits.

Monthly and quarterly accounting responsibilities related to the joint ventures.

Responding to joint venture investor requestsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelors Degree in AccountingCPA5-7 years of experience in accounting/reporting/private equity, preferably within the real estate industryPublic accounting experience is a plusAble to manage a teamStrong organizational and time management skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and accuracyProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordWDesk software knowledge is a plusMRI software knowledge a plusAble to effectively manage relationships with stakeholders across the companyTeam-oriented, enthusiastic individual who works well under tight deadlinesABOUT DOUGLAS EMMETTDouglas Emmett, Inc.
