    Description

    Job Title: Patient Care Assistant


    As a Patient Care Assistant, you will be collaborating with the RN to provide essential care to patients in the unit.

    Key responsibilities include:
    • Performing tasks such as taking vital signs, conducting EKGS, and assisting with phlebotomy
    • Offering bedside care services like bathing, mouth care, and skin care
    • Working on weekends and holidays on a rotating basis

    Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Mandatory BLS certification by American Heart Association

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Previous experience in patient care
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
    • Proficient in verbal and written communication
    • Flexibility in scheduling and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    Certifications and Licenses:
    • AHA BLS certification
