    Job Summary

    • The critical care nurse delivers personalized care to acutely and critically ill patients in a technically advanced and continuously monitored setting. Responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnostic tests, treatment initiation, and support for medical procedures. The critical care nurse also oversees and adjusts specialized equipment, interprets electronic data, and records vital information such as intracranial pressures, cardiac rhythms, and ventilator settings

    Job Requirements

    • Education Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
    • Experience Preferred: Previous nursing experience
    • Skills Excellent communication skills, strong leadership abilities, effective time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Must be adaptable and capable of multitasking
    • Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: Active RN license in Missouri BLS certification within 90 days ACLS certification within one year of hire
