Job summary
Care for residents physical mental and emotional status reports any changes reads and follows service plans attends meetings reviews daily reports in interest of resident care assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing personal hygiene dressing walking transferring turning applies minor first aid measures directed by a nurse assist with meal service prepares or examines food trays for prescribed diet feeds residents records food intake when required responds to resident inquiries directs appropriate person needed responds promptly appropriately emergency situations assists life enrichment activities as needed provides routine updates wellness team members completes recordkeeping tasks may assist housekeeping duties removing garbage making beds cleaning apartments washing drying putting laundry obtains records resident vital signs weight collects samples from residents testing sputum urine stool blood practices basic infection control linens hand washing aspects delivery resident care attend mandatory meetings scheduled executive director maintains confidentiality resident community employee company information maintains working knowledge fire disaster plans responsibilities emergency conditions performs other duties assigned
