    Job Description:
    As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with us, you will play an important role in assessing and treating communication disorders in students. Work collaboratively with students, families, and educational teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address students' speech and language needs.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
    • Monitor students' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports
    Qualifications:
    • Must have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Must have a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
    • Must have a valid Georgia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist issued by the Georgia Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
    • Must have completed a supervised clinical fellowship (CFY) under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
    • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
    • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to special education and speech-language services in schools, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other members of the educational team
    • Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide evidence-based speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders
    • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in the field of speech-language pathology and education
    • Experience working with Google District, GO IEP, Ablespace, Outlook, and Gmail preferred
    • Virtual: Must have 2 years of school experience and pass a screen test prior to interview
    Details:
    • Compensation: $40-$45 per hour
    • Weekly pay and Benefits
    • Start: July 29th, 2024
    • End: June 19th, 2025
    • Full Time; up to 35 hours/week
