    Description

    IMMEDIATE OPENINGS FOR MACHINISTS IN MICHIGAN CITY*Description:
    + This company produces custom couplings that are utilized in the Marine, Housing, and construction markets. These are custom designed in house and produced in house. Candidates selected for this position would mainly be machining utilizing a FANUC controlled Lathe and HAAS mill or lathes. They will be in charge of setting up, editing, selecting, and sometimes inputing programs depending on level of experience. Experience in broaching would also be beneficial. The candidate will be operating multiple cells+ There are two levels of machining candidates. The entry level candidates would have little machine operating experience, some experience selecting (pulling) programs for the machine. Preffered if they have experience operating a lathe. For entry level pay would be $18-$20+ The higher level of machinists would be accustomed to utilizing Lathes with FANUC controls or HAAS Mills. GDT is required for this pay range.

    + Current hours: Monday - Friday 6am - 4:30pm+ Hours will be changing to - Thursday - Sunday 6am - 4:30pmPay:
    + $18-$26Skills:
    + 2+ years of CNC machining experience (Mill or Lathe)+ Proven ability to perform offsets and tooling changes+ Ability to read in-depth blueprints (GD&T understanding)+ NIMS certifications+ Mill side: experience with HAAS machinery+ Lathe side: experience with Mazak machinery
