    This position is in the Quality Department in Richland, MS, working with the Quality Manager. The role is accountable for ensuring product/process integrity for high voltage circuit breakers through the development and implementation of systems that support internal processes other QC related activities

    How You'll Make an Impact

    • Developing and performing quality control systems and improvement to the Quality process and develop new processes.
    • Following up on the sustainability of the customer complaints solutions that are in process or implemented.
    • Collecting and presenting data to the department such as the roots' cause of the customer complaints.
    • Perform quality assessments for internal processes and supervise all activities for measuring process gaps.
    • Creating projects to develop sustainability to the actions planned.
    • Analyzing data and implementation of all Process and Quality Control Strategies.
    • Plan and evaluate process conformance and perform quality audits for various business processes.
    • Provide support to internal / external issues.
    • Using customer field issues, internal NCR's, supplier-caused NCRs, and audits as drivers of 8D activities.
    • Train and support employees on various quality systems, tools, and processes.
    • Accurate completion of corrective action activities assigned to you with detailed root cause, corrective and preventive action and containment.
    • Testing and evaluating the reliability and performance of manufacturing processes, products, and equipment.
    • Creating and maintaining documentation that reports issues, errors, and solutions relating to the production process.
    • Work with department supervisors and managers on corrective action plans to bring them up to higher standards, reduce non conformances, and improved performance.
    • Supporting manufacturing departments to identify quality defects and non-conformances.
    • Reducing non-conformances and/or errors found in production and working with QM, Engineering, and Production to eliminate repeat issues.
    • Reporting quality issues, performance and metrics to management and other department team members as needed.
    • Participating in formulating quality standards, policies, programs, plans, procedures, and practices.
    • Participating in making changes to our Quality Management System.
    • Three or more years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering and/or Quality Engineering role.
    • Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
    • Basic knowledge of how to read and understand electrical schematic drawings and 2D AutoCAD drawings.
    • Proficient with MS-Office applications.
    • Experience with or knowledge of ISO 9001 audits.
    • Excellent communications skills and capability to promote new insights and products.
    • Team oriented personality who can also work independently.
    • Ability to travel domestic and worldwide as needed.
