Job DescriptionHealthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Part time Web Designer to support the Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention Program with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. The Web Designer will work under the direction of the Public Health Child Passenger Safety Program Director, the Child Passenger Safety Resource Specialist will be responsible for designing and developing web-based resources in support of the Child Passenger Safety Program to update website content
The position will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and is initially funded 9/30/24.
Pay Rate-
$40 per hour working 8 hours per week
Location: Telework eligible - Los Angeles, CA 90815
Qualifications:

• Successful candidates must be able to use SharePoint 2007.
• Associate degree or Technical degree in Information Technology, Web Design, or Web Development from an accredited college or university -AND- at least five years of experience in web design or web development; and
• A valid California drivers license, proof of vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or ability to secure timely transportation for off-site travel to various community sites throughout Los Angeles
• County.

• Work experience managing grant-funded, time sensitive projects;
• Ability to act with judgment, confidence, and personal initiative;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly visible work environment;
• Good interpersonal and external communication skills;
• Computer literate and skilled in use of MS Windows-based programs, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access); and
• Experience in Microsoft FrontPage, Adobe Design Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
