    OPS SENIOR PUBLIC HEALTH NUTRITIONIST

    Are you passionate about promoting healthy nutrition in your community? An exciting opportunity as an OPS Senior Public Health Nutritionist is now open with the Department of Health in West Palm Beach, FL.

    Salary: $30.28 per hour

    Total Compensation: Competitive

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and provide nutrition care and education services within the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
    • Assess nutritional needs of high-risk clients and provide care in primary care clinics.
    • Certify eligible clients for the WIC Program and support breastfeeding initiatives.
    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive nutritional care.
    • Conduct hemoglobin/hematocrit tests and provide expert consultation.
    • Utilize mass media for nutrition education and maintain accurate records.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications: Must meet specific licensure and certification requirements outlined by regulations.
