- Your primary responsibility will be working on building and running hardware in the loop setups around unique weapon systems.
- You will program in C++, taking care to understand latency, thread safetyand pushing/pulling data from hardware interfaces.
- You will work with embedded hardware systems and sensors, understanding the electrical interfaces and communications protocols.
- You will document code, leverage our CI/CD systems, network systems together, communicate across the team your status and needs
- Possess a BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or similar field.
- Have 2+ years of experience working with hardware in the loop, embedded systems, or C++ 6-DOF simulations.
- Are skilled in software programming and are experienced in working with highly multi-threaded systems and object-oriented code
- Have a deep understanding of electrical signals and how embedded systems communicate.
- Are able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Secret level clearance
- Have significant experience designing and setting up hardware in the loop test beds.
- Have experience designing high fidelity (6-DOF) software simulations for flying platforms (missiles, planes, projectiles).
- Familiar with weapon systems such as: missiles, seekers, naval platforms.
- Familiar with one or more of: CUDA, FPGAs, compilers, or MPSoC, networking protocols, Python, Matlab, Simulink.
- The ability and desire to learn new skills through documentation, classes, examples and experimentation.
