The Licensed Veterinary Technician title is used in various states based on state-specific licensing and credentialing requirements.
Responsibilities may vary depending on the hospital and/or state and will be outlined by the state's Veterinary Practice Act and/or the responsible veterinarian, where applicable.

You'll be an integral part of saving lives each day through:Patient Care & Procedures:
Venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, laboratory work, etc
Surgical Support:
Assisting in advanced procedures, preparing patients, and ensuring smooth recoveriesTreatments &
Record Keeping:
Administering treatments and medications to pets, filling prescriptions, maintaining accurate medical records such as charts/treatment sheets, etc
Client Communication:
Educating and supporting pet owners with empathy and professionalism
Hospital Support:
Delivering compassionate care for hospitalized patients
Position Requirements:
Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.
Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (preferred)
