As they continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Help Desk Technician Tier 1.

    Job Overview: As a Help Desk Technician Tier 1, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and assistance to our internal staff and external clients. You will be responsible for diagnosing basic printer quality issues as well as generating service tickets for the Tier 2 associates. This position offers a great opportunity for professional growth and development in the dynamic field of information technology.

    Pay rate:

    $17 an hour

    Hours:
    Monday-Friday

    8AM-5PM

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
    2. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including Printers.
    3. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT support teams while ensuring timely resolution.
    4. Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure a seamless and efficient support process.
    5. Create and update documentation for support procedures, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guides.
    6. Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, including setting up workstations and providing basic IT training.
    Qualifications:
    1. Proven experience as a Help Desk Technician or in a similar role.
    2. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
    3. Familiarity with basic networking concepts.
    4. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
    5. Customer-focused with a positive and patient attitude.
    6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    7. IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
    8. Experience with HP, Lexmark and Xerox Preferred
