    We are seeking to fill a Direct Hire Quality Manager position with our client in the Elkhart, IN area If you are interested and feel you meet the qualifications we invite you to review the details below and apply

    Key Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science degree or a minimum of ten (10) years related experience
    • Minimum five (5) years of quality assurance management experience in a sheet metal/aerospace facility
    • AS9100 Quality compliance, understanding, and commitment

    Job Duties:

    • Coordinate and implement the quality management system, associated Nadcap requirements, and customer requirements
    • Achieve and maintain DSQR (Designated Supplier Quality Representative) for GE, Rolls Royce and other aerospace customers
    • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives
    • Prepare for and represent the company during Nadcap, customer, government, and AS9100 audits
    • Perform internal audits of existing quality management systems procedures and processes
    • Provide training to Quality Control Inspectors
    • Prepare and present AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) as required
    • Assist in the development and implementation of Root Case and Corrective Actions (RCCA) initiatives
    • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
    • Maintain current, overall, and job specific trainings and requirements
    • Carry-out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws
