- Design, develop and release body mechanism parts for Hyundai, KIA and Genesis North American made vehicles.
- Develop innovative solutions to improve responsible components from cost/mass, performance, and quality perspectives.
- Individuals will have the opportunity to lead development of responsible parts from styling concept to mass production
- Lead Development of Concept Sections and Surfaces
- Negotiate with Supplier, Styling and Surrounding Part Engineers to develop best design
- Develop and release BOM for responsible parts
- Lead resolution of Proto and Pilot build issues
- Launch vehicle
- Mentor junior engineers in development of Body Mechanism components
- Create and present technical reports to communicate project status and results
- Assess current design and recommend engineering improvements

- Experience in one or more areas of Body Mechanism Components required: Wipers, Mirrors, Windshield, Washer Systems
- Knowledge of US regulations is required
- Knowledge of design, manufacturing, and assembly of Body Mechanism components is required
- Experience utilizing Computer-Aided Design tools (capability in CATIA V5 ideal, but not required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 10+ years of experience
- Valid Driver's License & satisfactory driving record
