    Description:

    Provide analytical services and results accurately

    Operate GC instrumentation

    Entering data into the Laboratory Information Management Systems

    Perform various analysis analysis for routine and non-routine samples and complex matrix types.

    test responsibility may include: more complex or challenging analyses, advanced data interpretation, and independent decision making with little supervision or consultation needed

    Ensure that the samples are extracted and analyzed in according to LABs/SOPs

    Troubleshoots and performs routine, and preventative maintenance, verification, and calibration of lab equipment

    Skills:

    gcms, gas chromatography, mass spectrometry, hrms

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Chemistry or related science from a four-year college or university

    1+ yr of laboratory experience

    Analytical and extraction methods

    Knowledge of analytical instrumentation and data analysis software packages such as: Agilent MassHunter, Agilent OpenLAB CDS, or equivalent - nice to have

    Experience Level:

    Entry Level
