    Looking to fill summer program positions (approximately 10:00a - 3:30pm Monday through Friday for Summer).

    This position pays $13.52/hr or more based on experience or related schooling.

    SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

    • Age 18 or over
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics
    • Demonstrated organizational, staff and project management abilities
    • Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications
    • Mandated reporter certificate
    • Valid Driver's License

    Key Job Responsibilities:

    • Assist with organizing and facilitating programs and activities for youth ages 6-18
    • Ensure a safe and positive climate at all times
    • Implement Boys and Girls Club programming as directed, maintain a high level of enthusiasm, and be supportive and encouraging to all children participating
    • Demonstrate the ability to diffuse problem situations between children
    • Keep accurate records, including time sheets, program attendance, behavior/injury reports, etc.

    Education & Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Will consider individuals who have taken early childhood/child care classes
