    Overview

    Nakupuna Consulting is seeking Functional Analyst IIIs to provide functional documentation, data collection and analysis, and subject matter expertise supporting the execution of a large size, multi-year contract to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army (IPPS-A) Army Military Payroll (AMP). Nakupuna Consulting is extending contingent offers for this effort in anticipation of contract award, which is expected in May of 2024. The Functional Analyst III will be responsible for the functional testing of assigned AMP features and testing of general functionality on the PeopleSoft application. The Functional Analyst III will draft functional test cases and document test results. Although the Functional Analyst III will be able to solve complex problems without extensive assistance from other team members, collaboration with the numerous Agile Teams across AMP will be a routine aspect of the position. The Functional Analyst III will collaborate with Product Owners in the creation of user stories and acceptance criteria. The Functional Analyst III will also collaborate with the Functional Manager and other upper-level managers. This coordination will include participating in meetings and providing well-written reports when necessary.

  • Work with Product Owners to create User Stories and Acceptance criteria for AMP features.
  • Creates business process maps for AMP features and enablers.
  • Creates functional design documentation for AMP features and enablers.
  • Configures the application according to the documented design.
  • Conducts and docuemnts testing on AMP features and enablers to ensure delivery of a quality software product.
  • May provide reach back SME support for deployed production functionality.
  • Works with training staff on questions about feature operations.
  • Performs work under minimal supervision.
  • Qualifications

    Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of experience within the federal government, DoD, Army, or IC and/or private sector preferred. PeopleSoft, Workday, or other ERP experience a plus.

    Skills/Qualifications: Certifications in PeopleSoft HCM and SAFe for Teams preferred.

    Clearance Requirements: This position requires a current Secret clearance. Must be a . Citizen.
