- Maintains financial records and prepares monthly accounting reports. Performs reception duties when scheduled
- Collects and organizes patient biographical data for input and checks that necessary information regarding address, phone, employer, responsible party and insurance are available
- Monitors returned bills as an indicator of incorrect address and attempts to obtain proper information on patients
- Enters cash payments, check payments, Visa/MC and deposit transfers, makes adjustments, and prepares the daily deposit
- Calculates receivables and prepares monthly financial report.
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical/dental billing and financial reporting preferred
- Previous experience in billing and collections preferred
- Full-Time, M-F - 40 hours per week - 1st Shift
