Established in 1928, the West Shore Country Club was envisioned as a place where friends could gather for social and recreational activities. Over the years, as membership grew, our original vision has remained true. Located on 164 acres in the heart of South Central Pennsylvania, our club offers the finest in golf, tennis, swimming, dining and social activities for your leisure times. Our variety of banquet settings can accommodate parties from a small business meeting to a grand wedding celebration. Our beautiful clubhouse and impeccably groomed grounds add to the aura of quiet sophistication that is the West Shore Country Club.

West Shore Country Club is looking for creative minds to join our seasoned culinary team in the roles of Line Cook. The West Shore Country Club Kitchen offers excellent working conditions and endless opportunity for career development and personal growth. At West Shore Country Club, we encourage our culinary team to bring their creative ideas and make them a reality

Full-Time Position hours per week) Starting Wage: $18-$25 per hour

Part-Time Position hours per week) Starting Wage: $15-$20 per hour

Line Cook Responsibilities:

Ensure work areas are clean and sanitized
Prepare workstation with required tools needed
Prepare food items according to club recipes and standards
Assist Sous Chef in other areas as needed
All kitchen staff is expected to comply with all state and local health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Have a High School diploma or GED.
Previous hospitality industry cooking experience preferred.
Knowledge of basic food preparation principles.
Awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions and skilled in following food safety practices
