DESCRIPTION: Patricio Enterprises (PE) is seeking a Senior Trainer to support the Product Manager Combat Service Support Equipment. This position will require leading New Equipment Training and Sustain Training events and the development of training materials for Marine Corps personnel at Major Subordinate Commands and at Reserve units.

Primary duties will include (but not limited to):

• Draft/update instructor guides, student outlines and program of instructions, lesson plans, student assessments, test material, and attendance rosters in accordance with NAVMC 1553.1A, Systems Approach to Training (SAT) and Education.
• Aid in the planning and execution of new equipment and sustainment training events.
• Support fielding efforts including equipment inventory and reissue of assets to the unit with a detailed equipment demonstration and validation of the ability of unit personnel to operate and maintain the capabilities of the equipment.
• Support Field User Evaluations and Test Events, perform Instructor & Key Personnel Training as required.
• Support outreach events such as program office sponsored industry days, community outreach, and Marine Weeks.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Must be able to develop military training materials in accordance with SAT and other Service applicable training policies/guidance.
• Must be able to perform periods of instruction for large audiences.
• Must be able to use the Microsoft Suite of Tools.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of ten (10) years of training experience in military systems. Four (4) years military service (E7 or higher) may be considered as military training experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience developing training materials, periods of instruction, lesson plans in accordance with the Systems Approach to Training.
• Former school trained/certified platform instructor preferred.
• Former drill instructor with training experience on weapons systems or equipment preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to support Marine Corps conditioning hikes.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

• Could travel up to 50% of the time.
