    Schedule: 3 days a week (overnights required) Monthly alternating schedule - Sunday-Wednesday/ Wednesday- Sunday.


    Compensation:
    ($21.64 Per Hour)

    About The Role

    This position is focused on providing support and assistance to residents of our men's transitional housing facility.

    We strongly encourage applications from male-identifying and non-binary candidates who can connect with our residents and provide them with the necessary support.


    As a House Manager at Sandstone Care, you will be part of a team that supports young adult male identifying clients who are in outpatient treatment for substance use and mental health issues.

    You will provide a balance of structure and accountability while guiding them to develop the life skills for freedom, growth, and long-term recovery.

    You will also coordinate with other team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for the clients.


    This is an ideal position for someone who is passionate about recovery and understands the struggles and victories that come through the process.

    As a transitional living house manager at Sandstone Care, you will:

    Build rapport with clients and staff.

    You will foster positive and supportive relationships with the clients in the transitional living program, helping them achieve their recovery goals and develop life skills.

    You will also collaborate and exemplify partnership with your team, sharing feedback, ideas, and best practices.
    Uphold safety guidelines.
    You will ensure that the clients are accounted for and uphold safety guidelines,
    Transport clients in a 15-passenger van

    You will transport clients to and from appointments, meetings, and activities in a 15-passenger van, ensuring their punctuality and attendance.

    You will also maintain a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle, following the company's policies and procedures.


    Qualifications:
    You are passionate about mental health and substance use and an advocate for recovery.
    You believe in the power of recovery and want to help others achieve it.

    You have a compassionate and empathetic approach to working with clients who are struggling with substance use and mental health issues.

    You enjoy working with clients.
    You have a positive and engaging attitude that motivates and inspires the clients in the transitional living program.

    You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to build rapport and trust with the clients and their families.

    You are able to work collaboratively.
    You are a team player who values feedback, learning, and growth.

    You can coordinate and cooperate with the clinical staff and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for the clients.

    You have professional or significant personal experience in substance use disorders, experience in a recovery setting is strongly preferred.

    You have experience working in a recovery setting, such as a sober living home, a treatment center, or a peer support group.
