Job summary
The DevOps Engineer shall be responsible for developing and maintaining complex and diverse Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. This position's focus is on automation and efficiency to reduce manual effort and increase the reliability of software builds and deployments.The Job Description includes information about what you will need: Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools Proficient using Bash/Python to develop scripts to automate provisioning of HPC systems Experience with release management best practices including versioning, automation, risk management, and continuous improvement Experience managing software builds and releases with one or more programming languages Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and best practices Experience in designing implementing maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI Travis CI or CircleCI Experience with IaC Infrastructure as Code principles automation tools including Ansible
Also Desired Skills include experience with Atlassian Tool Suite JIRA Confluence Familiarity Agile Scrum methodologies project management collaboration SWE-2 Qualifications Master degree computer science related discipline accredited college university plus three years experience SWE programs contracts similar scope type complexity OR Bachelor degree computer science related discipline accredited college university plus five years experience SWE programs contracts similar scope type complexity OR Seven years experience SWE programs contracts similar scope type complexity.
