- Teach one or more courses from a wide range of military skills enhancement topics, including but not limited to Ammunition Handling, Basic Life Support, Combat Lifesaver, and Global Combat Support Systems.
- Develop and maintain an instructional program in accordance with training requirements, assembling materials to be presented.
- Utilize effective teaching techniques and incorporate current examples and practical exercises into the learning process.
- Maintain professionalism and discipline in the classroom to enhance learning environments.
- Administer, record, and critique examinations, prepare remedial assignments, and submit recommendations for curriculum updates.
- Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent professional experience.
- Documented experience in education or technical instruction.
- Expertise in the technical fields of Military Skills Enhancement.
- Minimum of five (5) years of military experience.
- Certification in Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), Common Faculty Development Instructor Course (CFD-IC), or Foundation Instructor Facilitator Course (FIFC).
- At least one (1) year of instructional or training experience.
- Ability to travel up to 40% for Mobile Training Team assignments.
- Must possess a Secret security clearance.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
- Light to moderate lifting may be required.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required; including quarter-driven hours as business demands dictate.
- Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
- Ability to work in a confined area.
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period.
