Description

The Head Bartender will use hands-on leadership to ensure bar staff provide consistent service to each customer. Lead by example interacting with bar staff and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Work standard Bartender shifts as scheduled
• Help oversee drink and bar planning for special events
• Assist determining bar employees' schedules
• Appropriately delegates tasks to bar staff.
• Ensure all bartender checks are closed and guest billing is accurate
• Advertise the daily, weekly, and monthly promotions of the bar
• Ensure staff is following all food control and safety regulations
• Initiates and helps maintains vendor relationships
• Helps select and purchases liquor and other supplies, making sure bar is well-stocked and clean
• Assist in recommending performance improvement plan or termination
• Point-of-sale lead for bar staff
