- Provide hands-on patient care as per schedule
- Adhere to all dental office protocols, policies, and procedures
- Conduct thorough clinical and radiographic evaluations for diagnosing and treating oral diseases
- Educate patients on preventive and restorative dentistry as well as oral hygiene
- Document treatment plans including preventive and restorative therapy
- Thoroughly review the patient's medical/dental history for a comprehensive evaluation
- Ensure proper documentation of diagnoses and coding
- Comply with OSHA and dental board regulations
- Oversee staff to ensure services meet or exceed dental care standards
- Participate in interviews of hygienists and dental assistants and provide feedback to Operations and HR
- Assist in training new hygienists and dental assistants
- Contribute to performance reviews of office team members
- Consistently engage in daily huddles
- Assist the OM with patient concerns and escalate critical issues
- Support Revenue Cycle Management as needed with insurance appeals, credentialing, or billing matters
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited school
- Active state dental license and malpractice insurance
- Valid DEA license
- Current CPR Certification
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills with patients and team
- Empathetic and patient-focused approach
- Detail-oriented with strong clinical and diagnostic abilities
- Commitment to ethical dental practices and patient privacy
- Ability to remain professional under pressure
- Interact positively with individuals from diverse backgrounds

Description
Position Summary
The Associate Dentist (AD) is in charge of managing, maintaining, and expanding a program of primary and preventive dental care in a group practice. ADs have a leadership role in the office, working closely with Office Managers to foster a positive culture and drive performance. The AD directly reports to the Chief Dental Officer. We are looking for a comprehensive dentist with experience in placing implants, performing endodontic procedures, and surgical extractions.
