- Perform operational accounting, which mainly involves cost rolls, reviewing material prices, and ensuring accurate standard costing of inventory items
- The month-end close process to include journal entries, account reconciliation, and other inventory adjustments
- Manage the Inventory Flash review, Cycle Count reports, quarterly Excess and Obsolete inventories
- Review and sign off on Engineering Change Notices
- Ad hoc - Volume reporting, research purchase price and material usage variances, working directly with buyers and the Accounts Payable team in resolving purchase order issues. Review bill of materials and address costing questions
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in Manufacturing Standard Costing
- Excellent communication and Microsoft skills
- Experience working in a matrix organization
- Oracle, Oracle Business Intelligence, Power BI experience

The Senior Cost Accountant for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for partnering with site-level Operations and Finance teams on a day to day basis.
This position is part of the Beckman Microbiology Finance Team located in Sacramento and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
