Sr. Systems engineers are passionate about mission critical systems deployment, management, and monitoring.

Our product line covers many diverse areas such as distributed service-oriented architectures, low-latency telecommunications processing, and high availability. Each of these areas in a mission critical environment contains their own unique and difficult problems to solve.

Description of Duties:
⦁ Sr. Systems engineers will have a strong technical foundation with Window / Linux Systems Engineering coupled with the desire to learn, grow, and solve hard problems
⦁ Designs, develops, implements, and validates IT system solutions for networking, computing, and our propriety communications equipment including conceptional, functional, and physical views.
⦁ Defines scope, objectives, and deliverables, and delegates project tasking to other system engineers on the project team.
⦁ Provides systems and integration engineering for software and hardware systems, subsystems, modules, and application tools.
⦁ Creates, reviews, and approves technical documentation (e.g., design drawings, design reviews, system layouts, system configuration, build plans/instructions, rollout strategies).
⦁ Collaborates with customers, vendors, and internal teams (e.g., program management, hardware & software development, test engineering, field engineering, production) for total project success.
⦁ Investigates and applies innovative technologies or methodologies to improve project outcomes, efficiency, or sustainability.
⦁ Performs risk assessments to identify potential project obstacles and devises mitigation strategies for successful project outcomes.
⦁ Ensures adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
⦁ Manages expectations and resolves project-related issues.
⦁ Experience in the following technologies: Windows /Linux Systems Engineering
⦁ Proficient in Scripting Languages and Databases (SQL and NoSQL databases, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) Ticketing and reporting tools
⦁ Exposure to the following tools may be helpful: Network analysis tools, Containers, System monitoring tools, Virtualization and Data replication and storage, System security management and intrusion detection tools, Telecommunications protocols and routing and networking technologies

Qualifications:
⦁ BS or MS in Information Technology, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience with IT systems and engineering.
⦁ 8-10 years' experience in Systems Engineering integrating, deploying, and supporting integrated hardware and software solutions in the area of networking and communications.
⦁ Candidates with experience in Voice/Data communication systems with experience architecting, designing, developing, testing, and integrating large scale mission critical systems.
⦁ Experience in requirements analysis and verification testing against requirements.
⦁ Demonstrated ability to lead and guide the program and technical teams to program success.
⦁ Collaborate with SW and HW development teams guiding the product design and development.
⦁ Knowledge with FAA in air traffic control system environment would be a plus.
⦁ Experience in telcom and radio technologies is preferred, especially if there is background with transitioning legacy interfaces to IP.
⦁ Proven experience in leading and mentoring system engineering project teams.
⦁ Demonstrates the ability to implement and apply best-practice system engineering concepts and appropriate risk management to solutions.
