    • Review patients' histories and perform examinations. Evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care plans. Refer patients to primary care physicians or other specialists as needed.
    • Provide clinical diagnostic skills in the delivery of patient care. Review test results and recommend suitable clinical management for patients, including preventive health recommendations.
    • Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans.
    • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results. Complete and ensure accuracy of patient medical records.
    • Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care.
    • Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings.
    Locations: Bethpage/Babylon
    Education, Training, Licenses, Certifications:
    • Doctor of Medicine (MD).
    • Completion of four-year postgraduate medical training from an accredited cardiology residency program.
    • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiology.
    • Must possess a current, unrestricted New York State license or be eligible for licensure.
    • Must possess Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or be eligible for registration.
    Relevant Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Must possess Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or be eligible to enroll.
    • Must possess strong communication skills, both oral and written.
    • Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office.
