    100% Onsite in Cambridge, MA


    Position Description :

    • We are looking for a highly motivated Associate Scientist to join our small molecule structural biology and biophysics efforts within our department of Biotherapeutic and Medicinal Sciences as a contract role for 6 months.
    • The successful candidate will be a part of a fast-paced and innovative environment actively pursuing unmet medical needs in the neuroscience space.
    • The primary focus of this role is to execute a variety of biophysical assays to help accelerate our drug discovery efforts from exploratory through lead identification and optimization.

    The successful candidate will:

    • Execute surface plasmon resonance (SPR) analysis for small molecules binding to protein and/or protein protein interactions.
    • Work both independently and as part of a team to ensure project team goals and deliverables are met.
    • Communicate effectively and present results in cross-functional team meetings.
    • Trouble shoot and solve scientific problems with minimal supervision.
    • Be highly organized and have an ability to support several projects at the time.
    • Independently operate and maintain specialized SPR lab equipment.
