    Xelda Company is currently a seeking dedicated individual to join our Event Cleanup Crew in Orlando, FL. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of event spaces. We are looking for someone who is not afraid of hard work, yet has a positive attitude throughout the day. We pride ourselves in excellent customer service and friendliness.

    This position is seasonal and offers flexible hours based on event schedules. Our next event is May 9, 2024 (Thursday), apply today

    Schedule:

    First Job Date/Hours:
    Thursday, May 9, 2024
    Downtown Orlando
    1st Shift: 12 PM - 11 PM*
    2nd Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM*
    *Or until finished, the event is over at 9 PM

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform thorough cleanup of event grounds before, during, and after events.
    • Collect and dispose of trash and litter from the City park and surrounding areas.
    • Replace full trash bags with new ones and ensure proper disposal.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of trash containers.
    • Setup disposable trash cans (boxes) around the park.
    • All team members must follow the direction of the Event Manager as well as City Staff. No disrespect will be tolerated.
    • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of restroom facilities, if necessary.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling waste and cleaning supplies.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and event staff to ensure efficient cleanup operations.
    • Properly dispose of recyclables.

    What to Wear/Bring:

    • Closed-toed shoes are required (no flip flops or sandals are permitted)
    • Khakis, black, or navy blue pants are preferred (no gym shorts are permitted)
    • Water and Snack for breaks
    • Mobile Phone

    *We will provide gloves, vests, hand sanitizer, and supplies.

    Requirements:

    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
    • Must be able to work outdoors and walk distances.
    • Reliable transportation to the job site (we recommend carpooling, parking can be very limited in the downtown area)
    • All team members must check in and out with the Event Manager upon arrival and before leaving the site. This is important for your timesheet and proper payment.
    • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
    • Excellent communication skills with the team and event manager.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    This is not a full-time position, this is a seasonal position with opportunities to advance.
